To healthcare professionals
Designed for clinical practice, Moodr allows a rich visualization of information in an easy and quick way.
Moodr is a medical app developed to be used as an aid in the treatment of mood disorders..
Its main focus is the beginning of treatment, in the stabilization and medication adjustment phase.
Clinical monitoring, evolution of symptoms and common and relevant parameters of symptoms and medications.
Aimed at the clinic, Moodr records useful variables for treatment, such as symptoms of mania and depression (in a summarized, clear, and simple way for the patient), medications used, life events, and health characteristics related to mood disorders or to pharmacological treatment.
It has been refined based on hundreds of cases, adopts the American Psychiatric Association's recommendations for apps, and was developed based on robust scientific evidence.
The app follows the Brazilian General Data Protection Law. Both Moodr and you don't have remote access to any data filled in by the patient. The information is his/her property and can only be seen on the client's smartphone during the medical appointment.
Monitor the following characteristics:
Benefits for the professional
- Monitoring the daily evolution of patients undergoing treatment for mood disorders. The app is easy to understand and can be calibrated and improved by the clinician throughout the follow-up.
- Confirmation of the effect of medications on the course of the disease.
- Assistance in confirming or refuting hypotheses in cases that are difficult to diagnose.
- The app can be “hibernated” after symptoms have completely stabilized and "reactivated" whenever necessary. The data will remain in the cloud and can be reused when necessary, even on another device, in case of renewal or loss of the smartphone or tablet.
- Control of patient adherence to treatment. The app records all medications in use, doses, and frequency.
- Refinement of the quality of clinical monitoring and greater detail of evolution through daily collection of information.
- Integration of all information, including patient notes and therapeutic schemes, in a graph that allows visualization of up to 180 days of treatment, with easy interpretation of more subtle and discreet trends in the evolution of symptoms, facilitating the clinician's therapeutic choices and improving patient's confidence about the recommendations for the case.
- Estimation of the best performance of therapeutic regimens (per month) throughout the use of the app.
- Visualization of the quantified weekly evolution of symptoms throughout treatment.
- Recording and monitoring the impact of the disorder, life events, and medication on common and clinically important variables on the patient's quality of life aspects, such as sleep, weight, and libido.
- Assistance in confirming or refuting hypotheses in cases that are difficult to diagnose.
- Patients' privacy is respected. The information remains on the patient's smartphone, and the doctor only has access to it on the patient's device. This avoids unnecessary exposure and circulation of collected data.
Moodr complements the information obtained on the day of medical appointments, avoiding the retrospective bias natural to the spacing of appointments, and potentially improving the precision of care.
